A Tribute to Roseland Park

Roseland Park

Artist Christopher Wheat to release special edition print of Roseland Park print on the 20 year anniversary of the original paintings.  This historic painting of Roseland is a gathering of several views of the parks featured attractions, The Skyliner, Flying Bobs, and the Gondola all pulled together by the iconic white carousel horse being highlighted in the center of the painting.  Christopher first introduced the painting at the Waterfront Art Festival on Canandaigua Lake. The old Rosland Park Closed September 2, 1985 The amusement park was located at the North Shore of Canandaigua Lake on Lakeshore Blvd.  My goal in creating a painting was to join some of the memories to allow for a unique way to Remember Roseland.
